Special Bearings

Special bearings fall into the categories ‘ standard bearings with special features’ and ‘ obsolete bearings’.

 

Bearings with special features are standard bearings with more or less tolerance, with extra grooves, with or without seals or suitable for high or low temperatures with special grease. Depending on the special wishes of the customer those modifications are carried out by specialist companies with whom we have worked with for many years. We are also able to supply standard bearings with maintenance free compounds suitable for aggressive environments as well as for extremely low (-70ºC) and high temperatures (+450ºC).

 

Obsolete bearings are bearings which are either no longer manufactured or bearings which were once developed by large bearing manufacturers for a special application and are no longer produced. Through our network of specialist manufacturers we are still able to have such bearings produced. We can also give our customers technical advice about special modifications.
