Like most trading companies we are continuously faced with changing market conditions, largely influenced by China. The last few years we have been looking to develop new avenues in order to strengthen our competitive edge. This has resulted in, in our eyes, a unique partnership with the Chinese company THB Bearings Co Ltd of Shanghai.
Ever since our first personal contact in 2007 we have been working closely with them. Over the years THB has audited more than 140 factories in China. In addition they have developed an excellent documentary system whereby stringent quality control is exercised by their own qualified engineers during the entire production time. THB are officially approved by the prestigious German organisation TüV.
Under our agreement we shall be marketing certain types of bearings and slewing rings under a joint brand name whereby we are able to offer European 3.1 and International 3.2 certifications. Under our direction the European 3.1 certification will be done by a Dutch or German Engineering bureau. More details will be given on receipt of definite enquiries.
Prospective customers can choose to contact either IBS or THB. Either way has no influence on the given quotation as we are both aware of the necessity to be competitive at all times.
 
As a token of the close personal and business relationship which exists between the two companies Ton Eras, M.D. of IBS, at a dinner party held in June 2011 in the 185 m. tall observation tower ‘Euromast’ in Rotterdam, presents Sam Yuan, M.D. of THB with an antique map of 1747 of the Netherlands.
